The Rules of the Road.

These Terms govern your use of LessonSaver.AI. Please read them carefully before using the Service.

Terms of Service

Last updated: July 26, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the LessonSaver™ AI website and services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. Where required, you will be asked to affirmatively accept these Terms through a click-through acceptance before accessing the Service.

2. Pre-Release Beta Service

The Service may be offered as a pre-release beta. Beta features are experimental and may be unstable, incomplete, subject to change, or discontinued at any time without notice. We make no promise of uptime, permanence, feature availability, or data retention during the beta period. You acknowledge that the Service is not yet a finished commercial product and that you use beta features at your own risk.

3. Eligibility

The Service is intended for educators, educational institutions, and authorized staff. You must be at least 18 years old or have the legal authority to enter into a binding agreement. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights and permissions to upload and share any content through the Service.

4. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized account access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law;
Upload content that infringes the intellectual property rights, privacy, or other rights of any third party;
Attempt to access data you are not authorized to access, including other users' accounts or student data without permission;
Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks connected to the Service;
Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the Service;
Use the Service to transmit viruses, malware, or other malicious code;
Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service without our written permission;
Use the Service to develop, train, or improve a competing product without our written permission.

6. Your Content & Responsibility

You retain ownership of all content you upload, create, or publish through the Service, including lessons, quizzes, slides, games, worksheets, and uploaded files. By uploading or creating content, you grant LessonSaver™ a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, display, and transform that content solely as necessary to provide the Service to you, and — when you choose to publish to the Community Library — to make it available to other users as described in our Community Content Policy.

You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and share content, including compliance with your school or district policies, FERPA, COPPA, and copyright laws. You are responsible for all content you generate or upload through the Service.

7. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence, including large language models and text-to-speech systems, to assist in generating educational content based on materials you provide. This includes the automated generation of podcast audio scripts, narrated audio, and other AI-produced media derived from source documents (such as uploaded PDFs) you supply.

AI-generated scripts and audio are produced by automated systems and may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or discrepancies relative to the source material. LessonSaver does not independently verify the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of AI-generated media. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all AI-generated content before sharing it with students, publishing it to an LMS, or otherwise distributing it.

LessonSaver is not liable for any inaccuracies, discrepancies, or errors arising from AI-generated media, and makes no guarantee that such content will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular educational purpose.

8. Third-Party Integrations

The Service integrates with third-party platforms including Google Classroom, Canvas, and other LMS providers. Your use of these integrations is subject to the terms and privacy policies of those providers. LessonSaver facilitates the connection but is not responsible for the actions, policies, or availability of third-party platforms. When you disconnect a third-party integration, we revoke our access tokens, but content already published to that platform remains subject to that platform's terms.

9. Subscriptions & Billing

The Service offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) through our payment processor. You authorize us to charge the applicable fees until you cancel. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Refunds, if applicable, are issued at our discretion in accordance with our refund policy.

Plan pricing and features may change with notice. Existing subscribers will be notified of any material pricing changes prior to renewal.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, source code, prompts, templates, and underlying software, is the property of LessonSaver™ AI and is protected by intellectual property laws. "LessonSaver" and associated logos are trademarks of LessonSaver AI. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or branding without prior written consent.

11. Feedback

If you provide feedback, suggestions, ideas, or bug reports about the Service (collectively, "Feedback"), you grant LessonSaver™ a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, and incorporate that Feedback into the Service without any obligation or compensation to you. Providing Feedback does not give you any ownership or other rights in LessonSaver, the Service, or any features derived from your Feedback.

12. Confidentiality (Beta)

For invited beta testers, you acknowledge that unreleased features, roadmap information, and non-public aspects of the Service may be shared with you in confidence. You agree not to publicly disclose, share, or misuse any confidential pre-release information shared with you outside of normal beta participation, except as required by law.

13. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any content generated will be accurate or suitable for your needs. You use the Service at your own risk.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LessonSaver and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LessonSaver and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

16. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases, and we may delete your account data in accordance with our retention policy.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which LessonSaver is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in that state for any disputes arising from these Terms.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page, updating the "Last updated" date, and, where appropriate, re-prompting you to accept the revised Terms. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
